This seminar will present an overview of changes to the 2019 State health plan. We are pleased to welcome three employees of the State of Wisconsin Employee Trust Funds, Office of Strategic Health Policy staff for this presentation: Tara Pray, Communications Lead; Arlene Larson, Federal Plans Program Manager; and Eileen Mallow, Director. The seminar will include the following components:

  1. A detailed description of the new, optional IYC Medicare Advantage plan offering from United Healthcare that will be available for 2019. Staff will review the benefits, providers and incentives available to enrollees of this new plan and be available to answer questions. 
  2. Coverage and any changes to the 2019 IYC Medicare and the 2019 IYC Medicare Plus plans.
  3. Any change to ancillary coverages, i.e. prescription drugs and dental health, will also be addressed.

Both cash and checks payable to UW FOUNDATION. Please enter "Open Seat Food Pantry" on the memo line. 

 

Parking:   Enter Oakwood grounds at the traffic light at Island Drive and Mineral Point Road. Take the left fork and then the second driveway on the right to enter visitor underground parking. Push the button for assistance. Park in any visitor stall; take elevator to first floor lobby where signs or a receptionist will help. When you exit the underground parking the garage door opens automatically. You may also park in a surface visitor spot (marked spaces along the drive and up the hill toward the large lot). On foot, enter Heritage (6205 Mineral Point Road) at its main entrance (third driveway on the right, at stop sign) or enter the auditorium doors directly from the lower drive.


Registration:   Advance registration is required. If you are not registered in advance, you may not receive handouts.  If you or your companion registered for this seminar but cannot attend, please email or call the UWRA Office.
